Until My Mom Got Locked Out…

I was enjoying a nice trip to JoAnn’s fabric&crafts. It’s my ‘peace’ store. My creativity flows unimpeded in that store. But unfortunately my dad wasn’t about to get ‘zen-like’ in the knitting and crochet needle aisle. That and my mom, for the past few weeks, couldn’t find her keys and needed someone to let her in the house.

I got a few things towards my costume: 2 skeins of yarn [a bright tangerine and a jewel blue], 2 packets of 1/4″ elastic, 2 yards of bleached muslin, and some netting in a pretty orange and blue [about 6 1/2 yds].

I would have gotten a bit more but unfortunately there was no time. I shouldn’t be peddling around Joann’s anyway, my pocket seems to become empty every time I go in there. There must be a pocket thief purusing every JoAnn’s location I frequent.
